Private Cookie Classes

We offer private in-home (or any location!) cookie classes. Royal Icing decorating classes are tons of fun, whether you've decorated cookies before, or are a brand new beginner these classes are for you. We bring everything but the kitchen table to your location and walk your group step by step through the decorating process! What does a private cookie class entail?

Cookie classes are 3 hours long. 30 minutes for setup. 2 hours of instruction. 30 minutes for cleanup. 

The customer provides a large table and chairs for each student to comfortably work at. Please no decorations on the table, we will use to whole space! 

The customer provides any snacks or beverages consumed at your event.

Customer may pick their theme (holiday, floral, seasonal, etc) and Morgan will design an appropriate set based on the group's average skill level (usually beginner)

These classes are primarily to learn how to decorate and not learning about baking or making royal icing, however Morgan is happy to answer any questions on that.

Morgan will provide disposable table covering, all blank pre-baked cookies, all icing, all tools needed for class. 

Each student will decorate and take home (in a pastry box) 5 sugar cookies in the chosen theme. Students will take home a small gift bag that will include a Recipe & Tips and Tricks booklet, plus a cookie cutter. 

Who can take a cookie class?

Anyone! But here are a few things to keep in mind:

I live in Whatcom County but am happy to travel anywhere in the country (see pricing on travel)

Cookie classes are perfect for:

-Company employee bonding event

-Celebrations of any kind

-Holidays

Minimum 5 students, maximum 30.

Students should be 16+ in age. 

Dexterity and good eyesight are pretty important when using piping bags. Please make sure you bring your glasses and have good lighting if you need it. Severe hand shaking may make this process challenging.

Zero frosting experience is needed for these classes. I walk you through step by step! If your group is more advanced please let me know and I'm happy to ramp up the difficulty level. 

Pricing:

-$100 per student (minimum of 5 students or $500)

-Mileage charge outside of Whatcom County

-Locations that require travel (plane, hotel, rental car) will all need to be covered by the customer. I am happy to provide quotes for this.
